CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Social Media Policy

Please review the 2024 NEALS Annual Meeting Registration Cancellation/Refund Policy:

  • Annual Meeting registration canceled on or before July 31, 2024, is 100% refundable, but subject to a 7% administrative fee.

  • Annual Meeting registration canceled on or after August 1, 2024, is 50% refundable, but subject to a 7% administrative fee.

  • Annual Meeting registration canceled on or after September 1, 2024, is not refundable.

  • Participants have the option to change their attendance from in-person to virtual and receive a refund of the price difference in ticket fees, but subject to a 7% administrative fee.

  • Participants may transfer their ticket to another individual at their institution.

Due to the transition from a hybrid format to a fully virtual Annual NEALS Meeting, all in-person registrations will be converted to virtual registrations. Attendees who registered for in-person attendance will be refunded the difference in cost based on the virtual registration rate. Refunds will be calculated based on the original registration rate, accounting for whether you registered before or after the late fee period. For attendees who registered at lower rates ($650 or $550), refunds will still be issued with a 7% administrative fee deducted to cover processing fees from the original transaction.

If you choose not to participate in the virtual meeting, you may request a full refund, less a 7% administrative fee. Please submit your refund request by October 21, 2024 5:00PM ET

Refunds will be processed in the upcoming weeks. For further questions, contact Beverly Smits bsmits@neals.org.

We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to provide flexibility to our participants. Please note the specified deadlines for cancellations and changes to ensure the appropriate refund or adjustment. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact NEALS Associate Program Director, Beverly Smits (bsmits@neals.org). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
